What Is a Professional Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel uses a controlled application of active acids to accelerate skin cell turnover. By gently dissolving the bonds that hold dead, dull skin cells on the surface, the peel encourages the skin to renew itself faster — revealing smoother, clearer, more even-toned skin beneath.
Professional peels are fundamentally different from at-home exfoliant products. The concentrations are higher, the acid combinations are more targeted, and a trained skin therapist selects the formulation based on your specific skin type, concerns and history. This means more significant results — and importantly, appropriate care during and after the treatment to protect your skin's barrier.
At The Vanité Lounge, we offer two clinical peel treatments: the Pro Power Peel and the MelanoPro Pigment Correction Peel.
The Pro Power Peel
The Pro Power Peel is our most versatile clinical peel — a professional-grade resurfacing treatment tailored to your skin's specific concerns at the time of your appointment. It works by accelerating cellular renewal to deliver smoother, clearer, more refined skin.
It's particularly effective for acne and congestion, uneven texture, enlarged pores, early signs of ageing and post-breakout marks. The treatment is available for Face & Neck (30 minutes, $105) or Face, Neck & Chest (40 minutes, $135).
Every Pro Power Peel appointment includes a thorough consultation, double cleanse and prep, the peel application, post-peel care, a calming mask and SPF. We also provide detailed aftercare guidance — what to use, what to avoid, and how to protect your skin in the days following treatment.
The MelanoPro Pigment Correction Peel
For stubborn pigmentation — melasma, hormonal pigmentation, chronic post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation — the MelanoPro Pigment Correction Peel is our most targeted treatment. It works deep within the skin to visibly brighten, even and restore clarity over a course of sessions.
Because this is a highly targeted clinical treatment, pricing and suitability are discussed at consultation. This ensures the approach is safe and genuinely effective for your individual skin. Pigmentation is complex and not all types respond to the same treatment — we'll be honest about what's achievable for your skin.
Peels on the Gold Coast — What to Know
Living in Queensland means sun exposure is a daily reality — and that makes aftercare especially important after a peel. Your skin is more photosensitive in the days following treatment, which means diligent SPF application is non-negotiable.
We always account for your lifestyle and environment when recommending peel strength and timing. A course of 3–6 peels spaced 2–4 weeks apart delivers the most significant and lasting improvement. Single sessions still deliver noticeable results, but real skin transformation comes from consistency.
We're located at 9/300 Olsen Avenue, Parkwood, Gold Coast. Book your consultation online — your first appointment includes a thorough skin analysis.
